Where the packs and the prices come from

Real GameStop prices — our Sensei is their Sapphire. “Up to” is the top of that tier's band, not a record; each tier draws from its own band, so a Neutronium pack shares no cards with a Starter. Every card above is that tier's biggest real pull. Each card carries its own PSA grade and that grade's own PriceCharting value, so a PSA 9 is a different card at a different price in a different tier. PSA 10 down to 7, mostly 10s. Values re-sync nightly, so your collection moves with the market.

New

More than Pokémon.

Marvel Champions is live now — 1,779 cards and 9 badges of its own, kept separately from your Pokémon binder. No grades, no values, just collect. More universes to come.

How the binder, the numbers and the badges work

Same card, different grade — its own slot, as in real life. A card whose price moves follows it into its new tier and still counts. Nine pockets to a sheet, and your binder gets its own page at packdojo.com/u/yourname, switchable off. The numbers track packs opened, what you spent against what your pulls are worth, whether you're up or down, ROI, best-ever pull and where it ranks, current streak and how it compares — nothing is rounded in your favour. Most badges show the share of collectors who really hold one, and the bands are re-checked against live player numbers as the catalogue and market move: a badge that drifts easy is retired, not quietly devalued. Calendar badges come back round.

The prize, in full

Sensei packs can drop a rare prize card — pure luck, free to enter. It wins a real GameStop Power Pack holding a PSA-graded card, Pokémon or US sports, your pick. Claim it free into your PSA vault or have it shipped (shipping charge, confirmed with you first). Finishing #1 on any tier's monthly board enters a second draw for the same prize.

Questions

The short answers.

What is Pack Dojo?

Pack Dojo is a free simulator of GameStop Power Packs. You open a virtual pack, pull a real PSA-graded Pokémon card at its actual market value, and it stays in your binder. The pack and the pull are simulated — nothing is bought, sold or shipped, and no card is physical.

Is Pack Dojo free?

Yes. It costs $0. An email address and a username are all it takes to keep a binder, no payment card is ever asked for, and there is nothing on the site to buy.

Is Pack Dojo gambling?

No. Nothing is staked and nothing is bought, so there is nothing to lose. The values shown are hypothetical figures for interest only. The one real prize — a genuine GameStop Power Pack given away monthly — is free to enter, with no purchase of any kind.

Where do the card prices come from?

PriceCharting, re-synced nightly. Every PSA grade is priced separately, so a PSA 9 and a PSA 10 of the same card are different entries at different values in different packs. The figures are estimates, not an offer to buy or sell.

How many cards are in Pack Dojo?

More than 61,000 real Pokémon cards across 733 sets, from Base Set through to current sets, including Japanese and Chinese promos. Grades run PSA 10 down to PSA 7, mostly 10s. The catalogue grows on its own as new cards appear in the price data.

What are the eight packs?

Starter $25, Silver $50, Gold $100, Sensei $250, Platinum $500, Diamond $1,000, Lunar $2,500 and Neutronium $5,000 — every one of them free to open. The prices mirror the real GameStop ladder; our Sensei is their Sapphire. Each pack draws from its own value band, topping out at $400, $800, $1,600, $4,000, $8,000, $16,000, $40,000 and $80,000, so a Neutronium pack shares no cards with a Starter.

How many packs can I open a day?

50 a day on a free account. A daily streak raises it — up to 150 a day at a year. Miss a day and it goes back to 50.

Can I get a reminder before I lose my streak?

Yes, if you want one. Turn on notifications in your account settings and Pack Dojo will send one reminder at a time you choose, and only on a day you have a streak going and have not opened a pack yet. You can snooze it for an hour, switch it off, or pick exactly which notifications you want. It is per device, and there is nothing to install.

Is Pack Dojo affiliated with GameStop, Nintendo, PSA or PriceCharting?

No. Pack Dojo is a personal project by Roaring Sensei, a GameStop Power Packs Ambassador, built and run on his own time. It is not made, sold or endorsed by GameStop, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK, The Pokémon Company, PSA or PriceCharting. Pokémon and all related names are trade marks of their respective owners, used here only to identify the cards being simulated.
