Simulator & Giveaway Rules

Two things covered: the Pack Simulator, and Roaring Sensei's monthly real-Power-Pack giveaway. Read once, keep pulling.

1. The simulator is free entertainment

No real money changes hands. Card values shown are hypothetical — real-world prices via PriceCharting. Nothing here is financial or investment advice.

The simulator is a personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK, PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) or PriceCharting, and it is not made, sold or endorsed by GameStop. Roaring Sensei is a GameStop Ambassador, but this simulator is built and run by him on his own time and does not represent GameStop. Pokémon and all related names are trade marks of their respective owners, used here only to identify the cards being simulated.

2. Accounts

We use magic-link email sign-in — no passwords, no third-party OAuth. One account per person. Usernames must be unique and reasonably tasteful; impersonation, harassment-coded names and other obvious abuse get renamed or suspended at Roaring Sensei's discretion.

Signed-in accounts have a soft cap of 50 pulls per day. Three things add to it: keeping a daily streak (up to +100/day at a 1-year streak), watching Shorts on-site (+2 pulls each, up to +20/day), and referring collectors who stick around (+2 each, up to +20/day). Everything stacked, the most anyone can open in a day is 190. The cap keeps things fair and stops bots from poisoning the leaderboard.

3. Two ways to win — both free

There are two separate ways to win a real GameStop Power Pack, and you can win either. Free to enter — no purchase, ever. Both are subject to the same rules:

• A valid email and a social handle on your account, so we can reach you.
• You must be 18+ (or have parental permission).
• One account per person — multiple-account abuse, botting or any attempt to game the simulator means disqualification and a ban.
• UK regulatory rules apply.

① The lucky prize-card draw

• Every time you open a Sensei pack there's a small random chance of pulling a special Sensei prize card. Pulling one means you've won a real GameStop Power Pack — the pulls are simulated, the prize card is the only real win.
• Up to 2 winners per calendar month (a limited number of prize cards exist each month; months reset on the 1st at 05:00 UK / midnight ET / 9pm PT). Once they're gone, they're gone until next month. Pure luck — no leaderboard or grinding needed.
• One win, then a month off. Win a prize card and you're out of the draw for the rest of that month and the whole of the next one — you're back in the month after. It keeps the packs spreading around.

② The leaderboard prize

• Finish #1 in any tier (top single-pull value) for the calendar month and you're in the running for a real Power Pack too, picked live on stream.
• Up to one winner per tier per month; Roaring Sensei may skip a tier at sole discretion (e.g. low entries, prize unavailable).

4. Giveaway — claiming & fulfilment

• If you win, you'll be prompted to claim straight away, and we'll confirm by email. Keep the email + social handle on your account current.
• Wins are revealed and the real packs awarded live on a Roaring Sensei stream, usually within around 2 weeks of the win. Timing is announced on socials beforehand.
• If a winner can't be reached or doesn't claim in reasonable time, the prize may be re-awarded to the community in a live giveaway at Roaring Sensei's sole discretion.
• Roaring Sensei may pause, adjust, or skip either giveaway in any month at sole discretion (e.g. prize unavailable).

5. The prize

One real GameStop Power Pack per win. You choose one of two fulfilment options:

• PSA vault transfer (free) — transferred straight into your PSA vault. Provide your PSA collectors ID. Same terms as on roaringsensei.com main streams.
• Shipped — winner pays shipping. Roaring Sensei provides the pack, packaged for safe transit, with tracking. The shipping cost is confirmed with you before anything is sent.

Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and have no cash equivalent.

6. Geographic eligibility

Anywhere shipping is legal under UK export controls. In practice that's most of the world, but Roaring Sensei reserves the right to decline countries where shipping is prohibitively expensive or legally complex. International winners are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes in their own country.

7. Data & privacy

We store: your email, display name, social handle, IP address at signup, and your pull history. We use it only to (a) run the leaderboard, (b) contact you if you win, and (c) prevent abuse. Nothing is ever sold, shared with marketing partners, or used to profile you.

You can delete your account any time from your account settings — that purges your personal data under GDPR. The audit log keeps an entry that a deletion happened (no personal content), so the action stays accountable.

8. Liability disclaimer

The simulator is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Roaring Sensei is not liable for any loss, damage, missed pulls, or unmet expectations resulting from use of the simulator or participation in the giveaway. If the simulator is down, your pulls aren't being recorded — that's the breaks.

9. Changes to these terms

Roaring Sensei may update these terms as the project evolves. Material changes will be announced on socials. Continued use of the simulator after a change = acceptance of the updated terms.
